Grant supports deep dive into microbes

(University of Delaware) A team of University of Delaware researchers has been awarded a $1 million grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation, which will be used to peer deep into the lives of microbes and find out how their genes get toggled off or on. Understanding how this switch is flipped is a major driver of precision medicine and its personalized treatments for cancer and other diseases in humans today.
